BU52025G-TR ROHM Switches (Solid State)
The BU52025G-TR from ROHM is a micropower omnipolar Hall-effect switch sensor that detects both North and South magnetic poles and outputs a Low signal upon detection. For selection, it operates from a 2.4V to 3.6V supply with an ultra‑low 8μA typical current, enabling long runtime in battery‑dependent designs. The magnetic operate point is ±3.7mT and the release point is ±0.8mT, delivering consistent switching with an 8mT hysteresis for noise immunity. It provides a CMOS push‑pull output capable of sourcing 1mA, features a tiny SSOP‑5 package, and works across ‑40°C to +85°C. In application, it is ideal for non‑contact open/close detection in battery‑powered consumer electronics such as smartphones, tablets, notebooks, and digital cameras. It also suits door and lid detection in automotive keyless entry and door lock systems, as well as position sensing in industrial automation, medical devices, and IoT sensor nodes where low power and compact footprint are critical.
