FDC86244 ON Power MOSFET

The FDC86244 from onsemi is an N‑Channel Shielded Gate PowerTrench® MOSFET that delivers 150V drain‑source voltage and 2.3A continuous drain current in a compact SSOT‑6 surface‑mount package. For selection, maximum RDS(on) is 144 mΩ at 10V VGS and 188 mΩ at 6V, keeping conduction losses low. Gate charge is just 6 nC at 10V with 345 pF input capacitance, enabling fast switching at high frequency. A 4V max threshold voltage allows direct 5V logic drive without level shifting, while 1.6W dissipation and –55 °C to +150 °C operation support thermally demanding environments. In application, it excels as a load switch in industrial controls, an offline low‑power SMPS primary switch, a synchronous rectifier in DC‑DC converters, a mid‑voltage relay and solenoid driver, an LED‑lighting switching element, and a power‑management stage in battery‑powered and portable equipment where compact footprint and high voltage margin are critical.
